About this movie

Unsatisfied with his career as the face of a national ad campaign, Jim Owens heads home to Indiana for his high school reunion. Determined to relive the old days, Jim tries to rally his friends for some wild parties and drunken hijinks, but in the process finds himself falling for the girl who got away. Featuring an all-star comedic cast, Back in the Day will have you feeling, and laughing, like a teenager again.

Rosenbaum is a good actor & comedian. But, trying to write, direct, act, & produce a film is a massive chore for even the most seasoned actor. His podcast is very good. What I like about this film is that he produced it on a shoestring budget. He filmed it in his hometown and let friends & family be involved.

I almost wonder if the good reviews are jokes. This movie was amateur. Not funny at all. Forced. Acting was bad. And I'm pretty easy going when it comes to movies. The whole principal thing...yeah, right. He just starts cussing out the gang at the reunion. Random. Also, butts are funny to my 7 year old...they don't carry a comedy movie. Really, skip this one.

Hilarious film with a lot of heart! My husband and I laughed all the way through it and can't wait to see it again! Bravo, Michael Rosenbaum, the writer, director, and star, for making such a fun movie. Great soundtrack, awesome cast, in a hometown setting that rings familiar. Loved the gorgeous river scenes shown occasionally throughout also. Be aware that there is some nudity and raunchy humor, but if you aren't easily offended and are in the mood to laugh until you cry, this is the perfect film for you!!!!
