About this movie

Before he took up the badge, London copper Damien was a fierce soccer hooligan who lived for the fight. Now, with London in the midst of chaos, Damien has to decide whether to side with his old crew or protect his city from the rioters burning the town to the ground. Thrilling and explosive, Riot asks the question: Where does your loyalty lie?

The plot is pretty good for the most part, however much of the cinematography (filming style) is fairly amateur. Not the movie to watch if you're looking for an action film with the happy ending. This is definitely a psychological film geared towards making the audience evaluate their humanity and loyalties. Over all a decent piece of cinema, just not what I was expecting. 4 stars for making me think and going in a direction few screenwriters/directors dare to go.
